At Little Roots Learning, we provide high-quality early childhood education in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can grow, explore, and build strong foundations for lifelong learning. Our programs serve infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children throughout Morrisville and the surrounding Lamoille County communities.

Through play-based learning, supportive routines, hands-on experiences, and meaningful relationships, our educators help children build confidence, independence, social-emotional skills, and a love of learning. With low classroom ratios and individualized attention, every child is supported as the unique little person they are.

Why Families Choose Little Roots Learning

Individualized Attention

Our low teacher-to-child ratios allow us to provide individualized attention and support for every child. By understanding each child’s unique needs and learning style, our educators create a nurturing environment where children feel confident to learn, explore, and grow.

Play-Based Curriculum

Our play-based curriculum encourages children to learn through exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences. Through purposeful play, children develop important social, emotional, and early academic skills that support healthy early childhood development.

Daily Outdoor Exploration

Children enjoy daily outdoor exploration that encourages movement, curiosity, and connection with the natural world. Outdoor play supports physical development, creativity, and healthy early childhood growth.

Our Programs

Infant Program

Our Infant Program provides a safe, nurturing environment where babies receive attentive care, individualized routines, and opportunities for early sensory exploration that support healthy development.

Toddler Program

Our Toddler Program supports children as they begin exploring independence, communication, and social skills. Through play-based learning, structured routines, and hands-on activities, toddlers build confidence while developing important early learning foundations.

Preschool

Our Preschool Program supports children as they build confidence, independence, and early academic skills through play-based learning and engaging classroom activities. We proudly participate in Vermont’s Act 166 Universal Pre-Kindergarten program, helping prepare children for kindergarten while supporting families throughout the Morrisville and Lamoille County area.
