Choosing a childcare program is a big decision, and we want families to have the opportunity to get to know Little Roots before deciding if we’re the right fit. Families are invited to learn about our programs, visit our classrooms, meet our educators, and explore current enrollment or waitlist opportunities.

Enrollment Process
Program Availbility
We encourage prospective families to schedule a tour to experience Little Roots in action. During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to see our classrooms, meet our educators, learn about our daily routines and curriculum, and ask questions about enrollment, tuition, and availability.
Tours are typically scheduled between 9:30–11:30 AM, allowing families to visit while children are present and experience what an ordinary day at Little Roots really looks like.

- Families are invited to visit Little Roots Learning to learn more about our program and see our classrooms.
- Complete Enrollment Forms
- After the tour, families will receive the necessary enrollment paperwork and required documentation.
- Confirm Enrollment
- Once paperwork is completed and space is available, enrollment will be confirmed and families will receive information about their child’s start date.
Enrollment is based on classroom capacity, children’s ages, requested schedules, and current enrollment. Because availability can change throughout the year, families are encouraged to contact Little Roots about current openings or upcoming enrollment opportunities.
When a program is full, families may join our waitlist. Waitlist placement is generally maintained in the order inquiries are received, with priority given to currently enrolled Little Roots families and Little Roots staff who are expecting a child.
ACT 166 UNIVERSAL PRE-KINDERGARTEN
Little Roots Learning participates in Vermont’s Universal Pre-Kindergarten program. Eligible preschool families may receive publicly funded pre-K tuition through their local school district while attending Little Roots.
Families should contact their local school district for information about eligibility, enrollment requirements, and current funding.
CHILD CARE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE (CCFAP)
Little Roots Learning accepts Vermont’s Child Care Financial Assistance Program (CCFAP), which helps eligible families with the cost of childcare.
Families using CCFAP must provide Little Roots with a current authorization certificate and are responsible for any tuition, family co-payment, or other charges not covered by their benefit.
